Relsen Larsen has been museum librarian at the Norwegian Museum of Science and Industry since 1979. She is responsible for the library's services to the public, the registration of photographs in Primus and the registration of private archives in Asta. Prior to her present position she was district librarian at the West Finnmark County Library.

She has been a member of the Norwegian Museum Association's working committee on photograph copyright.
