After qualifying as a librarian in 1995, Liv Beathe Bråthen worked in public libraries, mainly with
children and young people as her particular target group.
In the year 2000 she took up a position as adviser at the Norwegian Archive,
Library and Museum Authority, where her special area is library promotion of literature.
She is co-author of “A Lexicon of Children’s Writers”, published in 2003.
